Basra accolade of the Tigris and Euphrates

From the barge of Al Ahwar, we proceed towards Basra to find a port open on the world, and there life has a different taste, so between the goodness of Basra people to lulls of Shatt-al-Arab, where the embracing of the Tigris and Euphrates, and Basra songs welcome the tourist with no equivalent flavor in any part of the world  accompanied with the music of (Khashaba), to which young people dance, suggestive of joy and gloom leaving whatever its source was, and here all attendance are required only to take part in this dance which will never end joy in Mesopotamia.

Iraq is lying upon treasures, antiquities and tales that qualify him to be the first tourist country in the world, place of pilgrimage for those who look into the origins of human history, and who want to enjoy the picturesque nature, if we have excluded all bloody events that took place on this territory, and perhaps have changed some of its features. However, this matter was ruled out by the Iraqi archaeologist Dr. Khalid Al Fetyan, professor at the Faculty of Arts at Baghdad University, as he said that the countries with civilization like Iraq's their rich milestones cannot be changed by the events they passed through although the military machine may cause some damages in the infrastructure of antiquities but never abolish them for there are many milestones that bespeak the depth of Mesopotamia civilization. And about the resources that can be provided by tourism, the Minister of Culture and Tourism in Iraq said, " tourism in Iraq could be the second industry after oil industry and we called for that via the symposia the Ministry of Culture held and we will say as always that we need to build a tourist movement on a basis competitive to world class tourism, and here lies the advantage of the world expertise, countries, companies and organizations, as well as attract global capital for the purpose of investment. Anyhow, sites in Iraq are numerous, but it seems that tourists are already tired of roaming and we have to bring them back to a place where they could sleep and dream of a new tour to Mesopotamia.
