Statement of CINU denunciating Basra & Anbar incidents

In the name of Allah, the Magnificent, the Merciful

"Shall we tell you the greatest losers in respect of their deeds? Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds"
God almighty has spoken the truth

Once more Obscurantists repeat their heinous crimes against the people of Iraq taking advantage of the political vacuum state prevailing in the country and evident weakness in the performance of security services, and what happened in the governorates of Basra, Anbar and the rest of Iraq governorates, and what will further happen of crimes is but one heading of the same crime page though agendas and tools seemed different; however, attempts to force regional or factional will on the life of Iraqi citizen and empty the will of Iraqi people in determining their country political future will not be in favor of any political force existing on Iraqi political scene, and the weakened security services will not serve any political force now nor in the future, but all this will be in the interest of regional agendas that placed the interest of Iraq and Iraqis outside their care. However, while we strongly condemn and denounce all crimes perpetrated against Iraqi people everywhere, we would say that what happened in Basra and Anbar is caused primarily by factional rivalry and narrow party interest which dominated the behaviors of many political leaders, the most important manifestation of which was total failure to form an Iraqi government responsive to the will of Iraqi voter though five months have passed now since the end of parliamentary elections. On the other hand, the tone of escalation, shouts of down with, threatening, intimidation and convulsive media discourse of this politician or that one, and the logic of (after me the flood) will not make Iraq more stable as it would make the door wide open before foreign and regional interventions. We call on all political parties in Iraq to live up to their responsibility size, and the pure blood that was shed in Basra and Anbar and other Iraqi towns should provoke patriotism in everyone of us in order to work forcefully toward the formation of new government and interrupt the way before those who think to tamper with the fates of Iraq and its people. We ask God mercy for our righteous martyrs and immediate recovery of the injured- He Who hears and responds to supplication
