The 6th of January of each year is a glorious and special day in the life of Iraqis, the day on which their fortified armor and invincible fence, the Iraqi army, Arabism military and the nation's armor, maker of glorious deeds and immortal heroic epic, powerful attitudes, solid determination, relentless steel will, and the unbreakable snaffle, the maker of great victories and impressive accomplishments in the battles of pride in battlefields and honor fields on the road to freedom and dignity; this army has made the most wonderful heroic achievements and tore the dreams of the greedy with its legendary steadfastness that stunned the whole world, and its daring onslaughts until  victory has realized and enemies have crushingly defeated in all encounters while the throngs fled panicked before it after it quaked the earth under their feet, verily it is the power and maker of heroes, so we have to reflect and recollect and revere the sacrifices offered by this triumphant army, it is a requisite and duty upon everyone to celebrate and entertain on the day of its foundation, the Iraqis have recalled, with all glory and pride across the homeland, the birth of their great army while passing the 90th  anniversary of its foundation, whose nucleus was formed from the troop of Imam Musa al–Kadhim (peace upon him) which made of Khan (Alkaaboli) its base, then relocated its headquarters to Adhamiya, thus this army was founded on national principles, well-established and pure doctrine, with duty and function to defend the homeland, protect the borders, defend Arab territories, so its creed, national and religious attitudes and professionalism made it superior in all ranks over all other armies in terms of number and equipment. This military has defended, since its foundation, the borders of Iraq and its causes and could with all courage and bravery to stand up to, heroically and uniquely, and drive back  the external danger off its land and holy places; meanwhile, successive governments developed and updated it until it has become seven legions in number deployed along its borders and territories with the people supporting and sustaining it physically and morally because it used to defend their borders and face the enemies and the greedy which made a merger of state with the people who trust it in absolute confidence. Yet,  after the yellow storm of change has blown in and the entry of foreign forces, the notorious civil governor (Paul Primer) decided to dissolve and dissociate the bold Iraqi army, hence this decision was a major tragedy and violent shock to Iraqi people, whereupon the occupation-collaborating government formed an army from the militias belonging  to powerful factions with foreign agendas, and this same army kept hunting the Iraqis in their houses and on their own places which created a kind of isolation and dissatisfaction between the people and the army because it (the army) left the borders open and went to clamped down on the citizens and made them sleepless by indecent methods to the reputation of any army as a result of ill-treatment which rendered the people at large wishing to have an army for Iraq protect the people and not attack their houses, smash their property, so at each raid the hearts of Iraqi are wringed with pain and grief on the great army and recollect it with all affection and respect, thus, congratulations to all our hero military in all ranks and who served therein on its annual anniversary and we should say with burning throats: peace on you o' giant the day you were born for the honor and protection of Iraqis and the day you were torn by the occupation governor and the day you are created and called forth as strong anew.
