Who would save whom???

All people of the world look forward to live under the umbrella of a prudent and rational government that would lead them wisely and enable them to live in peace and at a level of prosperity and well-being, protect them against vicissitudes of time and rescue them from extraordinary circumstances, wisely and deliberately; and be fully accountable for the fate of the people, dispose of the country's property and resources for the service of citizen, who is considered a trust in its custody of that government, except Iraq in the aftermath of 2003 for it has witnessed a weird phenomenon never experienced by any country in the world, where all features of old and modern politics have vanished, and as such the protection and security of government have become the responsibility of citizen, and one of the good citizenship qualities that any Iraqi citizen must have willy-nilly, all that for the sake of a sustainable government and to stay in power though nothing was offered to citizen but ruin, destruction, unemployment, poverty, and deficient basic services direly needed by the citizen, and has left behind streams of blood for the past seven years, after all her efforts and energies were devoted to establish and build enormous security institutions, and millions of dollars squandered to equip members of the military and police with weapons, equipments and detectors all for its own protection only rather than the protection of citizen, it is no strange then to a newly born government with no long experience in politics and her heroes lacking the experience and expertise in political matters, while the most of their interest is to secure their personal interests and satisfy regional external states, work under their agendas to destroy Iraq and its people.

The historical juncture which Iraq has entered into over the past few years has overturned all recognized scales and values upside down in all fields: social, cultural and political, and thus the citizen has become confused and all he should know is patience in wait of his unknown fate as if going around in an endless vicious circle.
