Concrete barricades ?€¦.for how long?

Iraqis have received the news of lifting the concrete barricades several months ago with overwhelming joy after the signs of modest relief in the security crisis and the dream of normal life resumption have loomed in the horizon following long years through which they suffered a lot from the scourge of bloody events Iraq has experienced, and what these barricades have left which constituted, from the perspective of military leaders, the most important means used to cope with urban violence and guerrilla warfare, as a military strategic  policy to isolate cities and reduce violence events and insurgent attacks, leaving gross moral and financial damage due to blockage of many main roads which gave the impression of being a big prison… those barricades have left behind large traffic jams that wasted the time of the citizen if he wanted to move from one place to another, and indeed concerned cadres started that in a campaign to get rid of those concrete barricades that cost millions of dollars not to mention transportation costs and other expenses which were supposed to be used in service enterprises that would contribute to extricate the Iraqi citizenry from this accompanying enervating living reality, but even this partial rejoicing did not last for long after the recent series of incidents manifested in black Sunday bombings, bloody Wednesday and gloomy Tuesday as named by some citizenry and media outlets, and as soon the government perceived that the coming danger has become very close to her this time, especially when these incidents did hit government departments, ministries and other facilities affiliated to her, she resorted and immediately to those barricades to surround government departments and institutions as a precautionary measure, and even covered the squares and accessible roads from which threat to her security could infiltrate, so we say is not there any firm solution to this farce without  recourse to concrete barricades, and to make use of those unjustified sums of money for more important matters that might be useful to citizenry…?
