Youth ?€¦ the revolting generation

Wadie Fadhil Al-Qasimi
Media officer of CINU/Saladin office

Over centuries students and youth had their important role in life, whether in its general form or as it concerns us today in this theme which is the political form, where and throughout history the youth were the leaders of revolutions and demonstrations, so from schools and universities all forms of demonstrations used to erupt when the youth, standing for the rebellious generation, resisted all what is unfamiliar and unacceptable on the ground they lived by virtue of what they had of a revolting spirit against all kinds of ignorance, darkness, backwardness and aggression for being representative of the educated, aware class, which can influence and be influenced with the society surrounding them, and they also had a passion for adventure and gambling at the same time, had the ambition by which they could attain things they were dreaming of before. Hence, youth is the instrument and leaders of change simultaneously, for via them and by them bad reality we are living today and for more than six years can be altered if they properly selected  their representatives perfectly, they are the leaders of change if they steered the people rightly because they represent the conscious class which can influence the surrounding in which they live to select the best, and thus here they take over the role of director to usher people towards the optimal and the best. So, youth generation is the generation that builds the homeland and gird themselves for good and novel building towards a better future in which they will be the leaders of the nation. And from here Dr. Nahro Mohammad AbdulKarim, the secretary-general of the CINU, cared for this class and adopted the General Union of Iraqi Students and Youth with all its branches in all governorates, embraced their congress held before a few days at the Hunting Club in Baghdad, where he give away all sorts of material and moral sustenance. All this came out from the CINU and its leadership belief in this group of young ambitious group for what they typify of  a fundamental prop of the society's, and out of  belief in their role in the process of change which we aspire for besides all Iraqis in order to salvage Iraq from the mire it is waging thru, and drag him to safety, as we know that this class, and all what it owns of patriotic sense stemming from its originality and patriotism and belief in a democratic free pluralistic Iraq that may render it employ all its all potentials to choose the best and optimum and most competent  to represent them in the next parliament and, therefore will reflect positively on the building of a prosperous Iraq, strong by his children and youth and consequently a free proud and refractory Iraq in the face of invaders and the covetous.
