The declaration of National Unity Coalition

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Since early time the CINU diagnosed, along with its allied forces, the need of Iraq for a broad national front with gravity to administer the country affairs away from the tunnel of sectarian and ethnic allocation thru presenting well-reputed Iraqi figures known for their patriotic history; however, deliberate political maneuvers practiced by certain parties in the political process to stall issuing an early elections code, have resulted in a state of uncertainty that reflected on the efforts exerted by benevolent national forces, either in terms of willingness to register political entities or enter into alliances.

Arguably, what has happened during the last few weeks of different announcements about alliances and mergers have worn out the reasoning of all of Iraqis, and cast their heavy shadows on the political scene, and thus, facts have disclosed that such announcements were only an expression of private interests for specific persons and groups before being real initiatives aimed to build a broad national line supported and advocated by large sectors of Iraqi people.

In light of the preceding, the CINU has taken a decision not to wedge itself in such alliances and congregations preferring to run the elections alone relying on forces and groups allying with it and agreeing with the CINU readings of the state of affairs and Iraqi people needs.

The CINU and allying forces therewith, while they declare the emergence of (CNU), and as they are fully aware of the support magnitude they enjoy, hence, they have taken their bold decision to run the elections far-off from any coalition or other congregation relying therein on the significant awareness and courage enjoyed by the Iraqi citizen, while he exercises his right to the next elections, and for sure he will vote for the national figures and the forces of change and reform that are looking forward to a bright future for our Iraq and denying sectarian and ethnic trenching.
