Statement about trying to legitimize Iranian interference in Iraq

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The CINU has received with intense resentment and dissatisfaction the news that some political parties in Iraq have requested from Iran state to enter with the US forces into negotiations about the situation in Iraq and a response by return is appreciated.

Iranian intervention in Iraqi affair is not totally new, as it peaked in its harm, but the new in this issue the pursuit of this party to legitimize this intervention and give it an international cover in total disregard of Iraqi sovereignty and will.

The CINU shares Iraqi political forces their attitude in refusing and condemning this role, and all it requests from neighboring countries – especially at this stage - to cease causing harm to Iraq and to realize that neighborhood claims rights the violation of which may bring in temporary gains, but definitely will bring about great losses on the long run.
